Bella in Woodlands!

i just came back from a weekend of crazy shopping at Bangkok.. it was heavenly madness.. things were so cheap, you cannot resist not buying something.. of course, it resulted in one impulse buy on my part.. but considering the fact that i was pretty satisfied with my purchases, it was all more then good..

Super Saturday
since the rest of the girls arrived on Friday afternoon, it was down to me and Awin to make our way to the friendly city of Bangkok.. the great start, our flight was at 6:30 am.. yes, that freaking early.. so, i spent the previous night not sleeping.. chilled out at Alfrey's place and had supper at Mas Ayu..

no doubt i was very tired and we started the day early.. went to Chatchucak (the weekend bazaar, opens only on Saturday and Sunday) and spent a good 6 hours roaming the whole place.. after some nice dinner, we headed to Suan Lum (the night market)..

everything here was a bargain.. after an hour going round, i've learnt the ropes of bargaining pretty well.. haha.. Rab, Awin and me went crazy with the t-shirts, denim skirts, shorts, dresses and whatever we could get hold of.. thank god it closes at 6.. otherwise we would have bought the whole market.. =D

Suan Lum
same concept like Chatchucak, slightly cleaner.. we didn't really go bonkers here.. maybe because we already were the whole day.. so, we decided to go for the foot massage.. it was good, i have to admit.. my first and the last at that place though.. *shrugs*

Khao San Road
it was the road where our hotel was at.. the whole street itself was quite happening.. buskers, more shops, street hawkers and even 7-11.. it was supposed to be better at night.. too bad it rained on both nights that there weren't any street performances.. =(

by the end of the night, i had already spent half of my money.. haha.. it's fun like that..!

Shopping Sunday
after breakfast.. Rab, Awin and me went for manicure and pedicure.. we had so much fun.. the manicurist laughed when she saw my toe nails.. well, you would too if you see them.. haha.. we were pampered for only S$8!! believe it or not.. in Singapore, it would have cost us at least $40.. sheesh!

we went back to Chatchucak again because the other girls wanted to get some more stuff.. needless to say, the 3 of us went bonkers all over again.. =D

Ma Boon Krong (MBK)
i think that is how it's spelt.. it's a shopping centre, with the best bargain in town!! i bought 600 bahts of tidbits for home.. that, is for sure a whole load.. hahaha.. all kinds of bags going as low as 199 baht.. they even have their very own "199 shop".. haha..

initally, we wanted to go for tiger show.. and was told that there were a few near Khao San Road.. and then we were told not, by our front desk.. scrap the idea and went to the street for some last minute shopping.. at least for the girls.. Awin and i went for Thai massage.. only 180 baht for an hour.. that's like less than S$8!! it was worth it, not as painful as i perceived it to be.. and it really works! my body feels great and it still is till today..

Monday Rush
it was time to come back home.. almost missed the plane for some stupid reasons.. and did i say, i love the clouds.. they look so much like candy floss, it makes me want to reach out and eat some.. hehe.. my sweet boyfriend picked me up at the airport together with the other boyfriends.. Faiz came down too.. i have 2 strong men to carry my bags for me!! wee! i love them both!! *muacks*


i enjoyed the whole shopping trip, afterall it was my first time to Bangkok.. learnt a handful of new things to be aware of.. and i'm definitely thinking of going back again.. *grins* time to catch some sleep now.. will be uploading the pictures once i get the the rest from the girls.. till then, sa wat dee!

how can i still be awake at this hour!! goodness me.. i've been playing Faiz's PSP for the last 4 hours when i was supposed to go to bed already.. and i didn't realised it got me that hooked.. i didn't want to stop playing till i kill the bad guy, again and again.. freak!! this goes to show that i CANNOT own a PSP..!

eventually, my eyes will go droopy, they'd pop out.. my thumbs will be so numb, they'd drop off.. my neck will be so stiff, it'd just crack when i turn my head.. yada yada yada.. you get the picture.. but heck, it's so fun to have one.. sheesh!

and i thought of ordering McDonald's big breakfast for the little ones waking up early but i figured the delivery will be too late by then.. okay, i need to get some beauty sleep and no panda eyes for me please.. =)

this is just a temporary arrangement till i've decided on how to pimp my blog.. i like the blue though.. =)

Ling's birthday party was on Saturday (note: it's not Ling the rockstar karat but my new found girlfriend!).. her 21st birthday party was held at Woodlands (to think about it, apart from being called the same name.. they BOTH live in woodlands!! thank god different areas! haha).. and everyone, almost everyone, was from the east side.. and they were lost.. it's so funny and fun.. haha.. and oh, i played Battlefield for the first time that night.. it was like Counter Strike and i did enjoy it somehow.. =)

i spent the whole day meddling with photoshop again.. simple editing, nothing elaborate.. but i like how all the pictures turned out.. and it's only the ones taken when we picked the boys up from the airport.. i intend to edit all my pictures from now on.. hehe.. and i've also opened a new flickr account because photobucket decided to do their maintenance when i need to upload my pictures.. and then i realised that they are not as userfriendly as photobucket.. =( oh, i have yet to receive my birthday pictures from Thomas..! *shakes head*

i tend to say the wrong things or things that i don't mean when i'm emotional.. yes, i let my little heart rule my big head.. and it gets really crazy up there, where yes means no and no means yes, when rational doesn't sound right at all and thinking silence will answer it all..

it's wrong, wrong, wrong.. knowing that plus the whole puddle of nonsense in my head, it doesn't help saying much.. because it doesn't make sense at all.. i go round and round, ending up confusing myself sometimes..

honestly, i was scared.. yes, i was.. and i wanted to know that it's alright.. that it will be alright.. when the time comes ...

1. training (breakfast followed by tea break and then dinner with drinks at some pub)
obviously i didn't go for it because i'm still at home.. i woke up late and was not in the mood for it anyway..

2. movie and dinner with G15
not going for the movie because i won't be able to make it on time.. i have a feeling they're gonna watch Rush Hour 3 which i've already watched last night with my darling.. it's funny and stupid, it really cracks you up.. =)

3. dinner and clubbing with Amaida and Jean
i ruled this out because i've just met them last week.. so, i figured it's good to give some attention to my other friends because i love them all too.. =)

4. Ain's suprise birthday party
due to some previous misunderstanding, i was pretty turned off by the idea of going.. but i guess, it's only proper that i return them with my presence since they did come for my party.. and it would be immature of me not to right? and so i will..

5. Le Chameux first gig
when i got the message, my first reaction was WHAT THE FUCK?! seriously.. it won't work i tell you.. the only reason why i patronise their pub was to support Richard and just chill out.. so, like whatever!

when i am free, i'm super free.. and when i'm booked, look at that.. *shakes head*

by the way, my dear boyfriend bought me a kimono straight from Japan.. it was sweet and i definitely love it.. but when am i going to wear it? hahaha.. i seriously don't know.. me and the girls were planning Halloween Night! maybe we should.. hahaha..

my baby's coming back on late Wednesday night.. can't wait for him to get back.. been missing him so much.. i wonder if he misses me as much.. i've been keeping myself busy over the weekend though.. the girlfriends will be suprising the boyfriends with their very own creations.. i hope he likes it.. *cross fingers*

went to Baybeats with the girls.. caught Plain Sunset on Friday, and their songs' always stuck in your head after their set.. it's catchy like that..

also A Vacant Affair on Saturday.. Aaron's no longer in the band.. when i heard them live the first time without Aaron, i thought that it was bad.. really, it's like they're missing the best element in their songs.. he was still there to help them out though.. well, they're not that bad during their set too..

and the Swedish band, Blindside.. they're not so bad themselves.. got the crowd really up and about with their songs.. =)

i was offered a job which i still don't know what's the remunerations' like.. freaking hell i don't even know how much am i going to be paid.. the thing is that, i know it's good money.. like Wheel of Fortune kind of good money.. i'm actually still unsure.. urgh!
