i went for the Stansfield's education talk with Erfen on Thursday. it definitely motivated me more. it helped me see the possibility. somehow, i am more scared than i ever was before i went for the talk.

it's a huge step for all of us. - Erfen

i guess. it's a decision i have to make. i'm running against time. time don't wait for anyone. will it be too late after another year? but am i ready? can i handle it all?

just go into it and face everything else later. - Roz

i guess. you'd never know your fullest ability until placed in a situation as such. either i make it or break it. i definitely don't want to break it. soon i hope, soon.

it has been a busy week at work hence the week passed quickly without the agony of finding work to do or the luxury of surfing around the internet looking for brainless things for mere entertainment.

it can get very tiring working in this environment than working in F&B/retail environment. at least, you're only physically tired in F&B/retail. and that kind of tiredness, can be cured easily. when you are mentally tired, you'd be drained more. it makes you want to close your eyes and sleep. no matter how you tried to keep them open, they get dry and you'd think it's okay to shut them for awhile. no, you'd fall asleep. and you'd think that it's okay to be sleeping, hoping to be accompanied. no, you're wrong. sleeping does not amount to spending time together.

Just talk yourself up
And tear yourself down
You've hit your one wall
Now find a way around
Well what's the problem?
You've got a lot of nerve

So what did you think I would say?
No you can't run away, no you can't run away
So what did you think I would say?
No you can't run away, no you can't run away
You wouldn't

people we met asked, "so, how was yesterday?"

yesterday being Valentine's Day. well, to top it off, it's our 3rd celebration together since our first date fell on Valentine's Day. it's a double celebration and boy, was it wonderful.

nothing major, but definitely wonderful. my boyfriend waited for me to finish work at Raffles Place. he gave me my roses in a bag. haha. and presented my present after giving me the balance of the gift wrapping paper. my boyfriend's like that. haha. and for dinner, he brought me to the restaurant we had our first date at. Curry Favour. and after that, it was couple time with minimal interruptions. i love that and it was all sweet.

i still owe him his present though. i had no time to purchase it. i'll get it done soon. heh.

he makes me mad sometimes.
be it anger or crazy.
he disappoints me sometimes.
be it about anything at all.
he makes me wonder sometimes.
be it good or bad.
but,
he makes me laugh too.
at his jokes or even at him.
he makes me happy too.
if that's all he needs to do.
he makes me wonder too.
how can i ever be angry at him?
and,
he loves to kiss me, on my cheeks, on my forehead.
be it in the train or in the bus.
he loves to massage me gently.
at the back of my head, like i'm his kitten.
he loves me.
i love him.

and the list goes on. thanks baby, for making it such a special and wonderful day, for both of us. sometimes, i don't tell you enough. sometimes, i don't show you enough. do know that i love you so.

my cats are the smartest in the whole wide world!

Kiki - he would wait for the toilet to be empty before using it for his big/small business. he would do both at the same time. his spot would be on the floor beside the sink. that, is for his big business and for the small one, he would go directly on top of the water hole and position himself nicely. go! go!

Putih - he would do his both big and small business in the sink. yes, it sounds disgusting but you sort of get used to it. haha. but he, would mew and mew if he cannot go to the toilet. like the other time, my mom was in the toilet, he mewed and my mom ignored him. not knowing that he needed to use the potty urgently. he came into my room and did his small business behind my door. how smart. haha. like just now, i was in the toilet. he mewed and mewed. i came out and he immediately ran in to poo poo. urgent! urgent!

they too, have a sense of embarassment (kucing pun tau malu ler). if they see you standing in front of the door, they'd stop whatever they are doing and stare at you (what are you looking at?! haven't seen a cat do his business before?!) haha. i love them both.

and now, i miss Comot.

it's our 23rd month together. i can't describe how much it all means to me. i love you. *kisSes*

i'll spray you with my spray can.

i think LTA should choose proper timings to make road works. freaking hell, daytime Sunday?! on the commonly used roads?! i sent Nik home and couldn't use my normal route (Defu Lane via Eunos) since it was already jammed. i decided to beat them all by taking the route to Tampines via Bedok Reservoir. it was raining. and driving in the rain can be fun sometimes. anyway, back to my point. being smart has its cons too. damn. it was smooth traffic all the way and then, the exit to TPE from Ikea. it was freaking jammed up too. thanks to road works on lane 1.

seriously?! it's fucking Sunday afternoon and you have to do it at this time?! people are using the roads man. i wondered, what was causing the stall? i mean it's only lane 1 and it shouldn't choke up the filter lane into TPE. so, on i went. to see 6 bikes on the side of the road. not the road shoulder, nope. lane 3!! just before the lane 1 road works. and i turned my head to see what the heck was going on? freaking SIX bikes?! and then i found out. 1 of the bikes was having problems and probably stalled, and he was trying to restart his bike. you don't fucking need the other 5 bikes to wait for you, do you?!?! how dumb is that?! you just caused the expressway to shrink to one lane. "mats motor". smart right? i don't think you should ask the whole convoy to wait for you. okay, maybe you didn't and they wanted to wait for you. damn it. move along. there's nothing much the rest of you can do about his bike anyway. other than causing the road jam. thanks smart mat(s). i felt like running all of them down on their bikes. i did. in my head, of course.

so, the government should definitely do something about it. not about the road works but about the number of vehicles on the road. the roads in Singapore are congested with vehicles from one end to the other. the government decided to install more ERP gantries, in hope to control the traffic flow. i don't think that is working. the ERP charged hours are stretched longer on weekdays and the drivers ever so forgetful, to put in the cashcard. which in turn will clog the road more as they rush to slot in their cashcard without paying attention to the road, that's how accidents happen, don't they.

lesser cars are being scraped and newer cars are constantly introduced on the roads. that's a total of at least 30% more vehicles on the road?! no wonder. COE will be increasing too. that's not helping either. the younger generations are more eager to have their own cars than bother themselves with the COE prices. who cares if daddy can pay?!

shouldn't the government be doing something to control the quota of vehicles on the road instead of implementing all these redundant rulings?! it really doesn't work at all. oh, don't get me started on the cab fares hike.

humans tend to think that they know best in every situation. with that in their huge big head, they enjoy passing remarks or contributing opinions that most of the time, cause detriment to others. in many aspects. by passing those unwanted remarks or their unvaluable opinions, they have successfully made others' business their own. which again, is always uncalled for. you'd only know when you are in that position where you deem to be unnecessary. yes, every human being is entitled to their own opinion. no doubting that. be smart opinionated please. no one's asking for your comments especially when you are not even part of it or worse, have hell no idea what is going on. to give your comments on something that you have not been through is just irritating. keep it to yourself the next time please. you only hear what you want to hear. what you said caused something to happen. thank you for your unintentional, "smart" comment.

IGNORANCE IS BLISS

my judgement was impaired last night. taking it to be something that i thought was directed at me. when i thought about it, it wasn't. if i were in that position, it would feel the same. then again, it would depends on what situation it was. annoying or not, i let someone affected me. i let whatever happened affected me. it shouldn't have been that way. i should have known better. better didn't seem right last night, anger did.
